Sandra & Mathias: one wedding, three celebrations
We followed Sandra and Mathias from the civil ceremony through the dote to the church and reception, in photos and video, so the whole story of their wedding was told in one place.
The brief
Cover every part of a multi-day Rwandan wedding: the civil ceremony, the traditional dote and the church wedding with its reception, with a consistent look from start to finish.
What we did
One team covered all three days. We photographed the ceremonies, the families and the details, filmed the key moments, then edited a full gallery and a selection prepared for print.
